Challenge

When Sapphire FX Managing Director David Wood was looking to create a deliverable FX business website, he asked Mark and the team at Tondo Creative Design to help.

David initially wanted a basic one-page landing website that would connect users to another website platform, allowing clients to login for the services he was offering.

We suggested a seven-page website as this would allow David to showcase all the services that he planned for the business and future developments.

Mark and team at Tondo Creative Design worked closely with David to implement the vision for his fintech banking and financial business.

There were a lot of challenges to overcome when working from a blank canvas, firstly David had not sorted a company name or any branding. So we set about coming up with name suggestions and settled on Sapphire FX along with a dark blue and gold colour scheme.

A tagline was also created to support the logo: Effortless Global Transactions.

Next we structured the page contents of the website which includes: Home, About Us, Our Services, Security, Support, Privacy Policy and Contact Us.

The overall look and feel of each page was created in InDesign first, and a PDF version was sent so that David could see what he was going to get before any coding or website building could take place.

Working out each page element also helped us to see how we could connect the Currencycloud onboarding platform services, and the Financial Conduct Authority regulations which were essential to be approved to operate the Sapphire FX business.

Value

Tondo Creative Design added value to this project by creating a modern and clean looking responsive website with sharp fintech images. One of David’s key requests was that the mobile version was a major priority as this would be used most by clients signing up. We ensured that the user interface and website experience was as easy as possible to navigate across all smartphones, tablets and desktop devices.

Foreign language support was also added to the website to help Sapphire FX reach international global audiences.

We also created various sized promotional marketing to help enhance and support the Sapphire FX branding to new clients.
